Holocaust Remembrance Sunday

Sunday 30th January

"As long as the survivors are still with us, the last chapter of the Holocaust has not been written. If we all play our part, the last chapter can end on a redemptive note, on a note of reconciliation, friendship and brotherhood".
Harald Eckert
Chairman of European Coalition for Israel
27th January is the International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
It was on this day in 1945 that Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp was liberated. Churches around the world are marking and remembering the Holocaust and it's victims on the following Sunday, 30th January.
Today, many Holocaust survivors are living out their last days in poverty. Many of them
have medical, financial and psychological problems. All of them are in old age.

'Your People My People' Organisation is helping Holocaust Survivors in Israel by sponsoring local initiatives to reach out to this dying generation. This is our opportunity to show sol
idarity while there is still time.
