Jesus Still Working in Nazareth

Acts 1:8  “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Inspiring the next generation is a large and consuming call, one that Rania, the director of HOPE (House of Prayer & Exploits) takes to with enthusiasm and unwavering expectation.  This year on Pentecost (Shavuot/Feast of Weeks), Rania hosted a Worship and Prayer Event for youth, held in her hometown of Nazareth.

It was an evening themed on Acts 1:8 and included times of worship and prayer led by young people from different churches around the Galilee.  A video was shown inspiring this generation to respond to the call to be watchmen on the walls, along with prophetic dance and testimonies of young people's lives being transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit and of healing miracles. There was also personal ministry for the youth after a short word was shared.  In short, they were anticipating the Holy Spirit to touch many and were open to His agenda!

“We are believing for the Lord to release fresh winds of the Spirit over our region and over this generation”, says Rania.  “If we keep gazing at Jesus and His glory in worship and prayer we will ultimately look like Him, and change the world around us. We will become like the one we are gazing at!”

Over 70 Arab Christian young people came to seek God at this event.  God is moving among the youth in Nazareth and through the ministry of HOPE as Rania continues to lead them into His presence.  Rania has asked if people would pray - would you be willing to join your prayers with ours:
1. For the Lord to continue to pour out His anointing over and through the worship teams in the area.
2. For God’s wisdom, anointing, revelation and strength for me (Rania) personally as I lead these kind of meetings and other events.
3. For protection over all those involved in leading and working for the ministry of HOPE.
4. For the Lord to pour out His Spirit over us as we worship, and this generation will carry the Spirit of Elijah to ‘prepare the way of the Lord’.
5. For the youth to respond, to have time to be with other youth around the region for corporate unity.

Blessings and thank you all for standing with us, I appreciate your support.
- Rania
