To The Future...
Despite the difficulties of the times we are currently living in, there is something about a new year that gives us an opportunity to start afresh - to draw a line under what has gone before and to look ahead to new opportunities.
It is a call to take stock and to ‘gird up our loins’, so to speak - to prepare ourselves for action - to download a fresh vision from the Lord for the next season.
The people and projects we support in Israel have been doing a valiant job - reaching out in every way possible despite the restrictions of Covid-19. Now, as a new year is upon us, they have been asking the Lord for his next plans and we wanted to share some of them with you here.
DOR HABA (The Coming Generation) | JERUSALEM
“We have begun working on a Kingdom project that was birthed during the collaborative event Dor Haba had this summer – a Bible podcast with scriptures read by youth in Hebrew and Arabic in the simplest translations, easy for teenagers to relate to and understand. As well as original music produced by Jewish and Arab teenagers that will play in the background,” shared Tal from DOR HABA, Jerusalem.
“We are very excited about this project and would appreciate your prayers for it! Also, for the short graphic novel about the journey of a teenager that deals with the issue of identity and freedom from bondage.
“Young people from all over the country are drawing illustrations for this. It will include scriptures from the Bible in Hebrew and Arabic on these very topics.
“The idea behind both of these projects is that Jewish and Arab believers in Yeshua learn to work together creatively for the advancement of the kingdom in Israel and the Middle East.”
“We hope you enjoyed our latest release of ‘Oceans’* in Hebrew and Arabic. We are now working on three original songs with videos, two in Hebrew and one in Arabic, each written by young local worship leaders.
“As soon as the lockdown lifts we’d like to do a Dor Haba weekend for older kids and teenagers, providing them with more training and tools for worship and prayer, and for shining God’s light in their nation.”
“We’d also like to take the middle school group to meet with believing Arab teens their age in Nazareth, so they can have fellowship and training together.
“Thank you for partnering with us for these projects and for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.”

LECH L'CHA | Discipleship Training | PETACH TIKVAH
“By God’s grace, we finished our 29th Lech L’cha Discipleship program, just before Israel entered a third lockdown. We saw God answer prayers: The beginning of Israel’s lockdown was postponed by 3 days, which gave us time to fit in all of the teachings and finish this program almost completely as planned!”, shared Shmu’el from Lech L’cha
“Thank YOU for being a part of this incredible work through your prayers and financial support. We could not have done this without you. Thanks to your support, we were able to cover the costs of the program, and also provide scholarships for those students in need of financial aid. Your prayer support has been so important, especially this year as we have prayed through every decision and sought God’s wisdom on how to continue a Discipleship program while adhering to the rules set by the government regarding COVID-19.”
Despite, and perhaps partly due to the global pandemic, Lech L’cha received a record number of students during 2020. God turned the situation around to train up more students than ever to live their lives as lights and givers of living water in their communities.
“We are preparing for our 30th Discipleship program this spring, and have already begun receiving applications. We also want to hold another young adults conference as soon as restrictions are lifted.”

“It’s on my heart to share with you, in this coming season what the Lord has for us for the expansion of our ministry and the House of Prayer, here in Nazareth.” shared Rania from HOPE - House of Prayer, Nazareth.
“In the past five to six years, the Lord has been speaking to us in sovereign ways with prophetic words and vivid dreams about a new space for our ministry - in order to expand our tent pegs and bless many, many more people here in the Land and also to be a place where the nations could come and unite with the people here to pray and intercede for the Land.
Over the past years, we have been praying into this and asking the Lord more and more about what this building would look like. It’s on our hearts as the Lord was giving us this vision to have not only a prayer house but to also have a space where people could come and be trained - a space that could take between 80 to 120 people - in addition, we would love to have some space for healing rooms where people could be ministered to prophetically to see God release healing and miracles both physically and emotionally - spirit, soul and body. One of the main anointings, I would say, that the Lord has released over the city of Nazareth is to be a place of healing, where the river flows.
“Recently, an opportunity came up suddenly, that we are really excited about - there are some new buildings being built overlooking the Jezreel valley and Tabor mountain. Would you join us in praying about this as the new location the Lord has been speaking to us about for the last few years.”

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Messiah Yeshua throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen (Ephesians 3:20-21)
